Sorry, Herms.. Tried to keep it minimal
"And watch out for Nargles," Luna said, smiling serenely at her children. "And the Confuzzle," Rolf chimed in, nodding seriously. "We will," Persephone, Lysander and Lorcan said in unison. They were used to this talk. It was fairly standard. The idea of having to watch out for Nargles amused the twins immensely. Lorcan and Lysander exchanged grins. They'd been able to recognize, and consequently avoid, Nargles since they were six. And they'd been with their mum when she'd discovered the Confuzzle. "I'll watch them on the train, mum," Persephone said, ruffling Lysander's hair. He let her for a moment, before twitching away. "Well, I'll see you at the feast, then," Luna said. "Have a nice trip." "See you soon, Apollo." Lorcan said, grinning at him, giving him a one armed hug type thing. "C'mon, you two," Persephone said, guiding them away from their parents and onto the train. Once they were safely out of view, Lysander opened his mouth to protest, but she cut him off. "I know, I know. It's no fun being babysat by your big sister. I'm going to go find Terri and Cindy. Come find me if you need me. I'll assume you both survived the train ride if you don't come find me. See you in Ravenclaw tonight!" She said, inflicting a hug on both of them before disappearing. "Ahh, freedom," Lysander said, grinning. Lorcan nodded in agreement. He was the follower in this duo, and Lysander was definitely the leader. "C'mon, Sander," was all he said. "Let's go find a compartment."

Liam pushed Lena down one side of the train and stoped. "Lena im going that way on the train to find a compartment, dont follow me i dont want you sitting next to me on the way there its bad enough well be in the same house and have to be in classes all year"
Lena looked indignetly at her brother and rolled her eyes. "like i want to sit with your uggly face, there are better people here to get to know, so go off alone and try hanging out a window on the way there maybe ill get lucky and you'll fall out."
Liam laughed when she mentioned his ugly face. "you go have fun with that, but im telling you now, im not the one with an ugly face." he smerked at Lena and turned walking away before she could retort at him. Lena had no idea that from the time she steped foot onto the train her forhead sudenly had the word MUGGLE written on it, Liam succeeded in pulling the first prank of there school year.
Lena slowly walked down the long corrador peeking into compartments but most of them were filled with older looking kids and so she continued on till she found one, it had a bunch of boys in it and two girls, it looked packed but she saw a seat open and thought she would ask, so she opened the door and peeked in. "um.. HI.." she smiled sweetly "is this compartment full? Might i be able to sit with you?"
Liam walked around enjoying not having Lena with him and wondered how many people would laugh at her before she realized he had snuck in this morning and writen on her forhead while she slept, he was glad his dad let him look through the joke shop they had found. He took out the magic invisable marker and laughed. He stoped at a compartment and looked in shocked to find it empty and decided this was as good a spot as any to wait for that trolly he heard about as he counted the money his mum gave him.

Lucy was on a mission. The mission: Find a compartment. Any compartment. Any compartment, that is, that did NOT have her older sister Molly in it. So far, Lucy Weasley's day had consisted of Molly waking her up, Molly reminding her of what surely had to be every single rule at Hogwarts, Molly and their father discussing broomstick regulations at the train station, and then, at last, Lucy getting away from Molly the second their parents left. So now, she was wandering through the train, looking for her cousin Rose, or really, anyone else who wasn't Molly.
Terri and Cindy had both arrived early that day--they had a compartment near the front of the carriage, miraculously to themselves. Now they were wondering where Persephone was and when the train would start moving.

"You have something written on your head," Omar said to the girl who had just walked in the door.
"That's not just any word. It says Muggle," said Al, stifling a laugh.
"What's that mean?" asked Omar.
"It means someone who iz not of ze wizard blood," answered Will.
"Yeah.. I guess someone pulled a fast one on ye," laughed Al. "You didn't bump into any Slytherins on your way, did ye?" he asked.
"What's that... a Slytherin?" asked Omar.

Lena turned beet red as she quickly pulled out a mirror and examined her head. "Liam..." she almost screamed as she glanced over her shoulder to an empty hall. "that boy is an evil prat. i cant belive he did that." she sighed as she tryed miserably to scrub the word MUGGLE off of her brow. "no wonder half the train has been laughing at me, he better watch his back." she grumbled then looked to the compartments inhabitants again. "so aside from me having this on my forhead might i join you?"

"Well it's kind of packed in here," answered Al, looking around as Will tried to explain to Omar what a Slytherin was.
"I think a Slytherin iz maybe something zat iz slimy," Will said.
Al laughed. "Here's the blind leading the blind. Slytherin is a Hogwarts House for slimy gits. So, I think you were right Will."
Al turned his attention back to the girl at the door and said to her, "If there's space, grab a seat I guess. But I think there maybe other compartments a lot less crowded. You could look. But, if you like, you can stay here."

"Thats ok, your right it is crowded in here, but thanks for letting me know about this." Lena held up the slightly smeared rag and pointed to her brow. "ill find another compartment, maybe well all end up in the same house." she smiled to all of them and closed the compartment continueing her serch for a seat before the train decided to set off. Maybe she would luck out and find that candy cart.

After eleven years, Rose had become very good at sensing when there were Weasley's in the near vicinity. So, when something prompted her to look up from her book, she was not at all surprised at all to see Lucy wandering down the corridor. She waved at Lucy to get her attention, before getting up to go open the compartment door. Her cousin looked a little frazzled. Rose would have been willing to be that it was Molly's fault. ~*~*~ After ten minutes of searching the train, Persephone finally found Terri and Cindy's compartment. She grinned to herself as she shifted her trunk so she'd have a free hand to open the door with. They'd written loads over the summer, but there was nothing quite like seeing her two friends in person. "Well, it's official," she said, as she pushed open the door to the compartment. "Hogwarts is no longer safe. Lorcan and Lysander are first years this year," she explained, as a response to Terri and Cindy's puzzled looks. "How was your summer?"

After the girl whose name they never got to know had left, it was Omar who spoke first. "And what is a Hogwarts House exactly... and why are there slimy gits in it?" he asked. "I'm just curious," he added.
"Yikes... you're Muggle born aren't you?" said Albus; and then a strange gleam came to his eyes. "Hmm.. tell you what buddy," he said leaning closer to Omar and whispering so that only Omar could hear, "go out the door... turn left and go to the next car. You'll see two slimy gits snarling at you; one's got a shock of white hair... hard to miss. Maybe... just maybe, they can answer all your questions. But, if you really want answers, ask them why Slytherins are slimy gits." Al leaned back and nodded solemnly. "That's really what you should do if you want answers. It's the only way."
The others looked at Albus curiously, wondering what he had just whispered to Omar.
"You're not serious, are you?" asked Omar.
"I'm dead serious mate. As dead as Sirius and as serious as my brother's middle name is Sirius," answered Al, in a very serious manner indeed, crossing his arms over his chest.
Omar looked at him, trying to understand what he had just heard, and wondered why some of the others were laughing at this nonsense. And, he also wondered if all wizards spoke in a funny manner. Lectures would be very difficult to understand if this was so.
"Seriously mate... go," said Al, giving Omar a nudge with his elbow.
Omar gave Albus a quizzical look, got up, and walked out the door. His curiosity had got the better of him. He really wanted to know what a slimy git Slytherin was that lived in a Hogwarts House.

She wasn't really sure why but Avian stood and followed Omar out into the corridor. She peeked around him into the compartment that was behind theirs. Just as she thought. The car held the very blond boy and the darker one. They were talking to two other boys who looked close to tears. She stepped out from behind Omar and her eyes locked with the blond's for a long minute. Then she stepped back behind Omar as he opened the compartment door and stepped inside.
