OK, just a few basic rules for RPGs: 1) The same rules of the forum apply! No bad language, swearing, etc. Keep it PG rated, people. 2) The creator of the RPG ultimately gets the final say. They generally have a plot arc idea. It's their RPG, play by their rules. If you don't like it, start your own. 3) Don't mess with other people's characters without their permission. 4) Don't take other people's parents. If I create a character who's father is Neville you don't create them a sibling, without OK-ing it with me. Even if I create a non-cannon character and you want to play the cannon character, you still have to check. OK, that's it. Have fun!

Rules for NG
1. All players must have at least one first year student 2. Please follow the plot 3. Players will not do anything to undermine the main plot of NG 4. Please remember that your first year students are your primary characters, and try to treat them as such and write about them as much as possible. 5. The idea is to get a whole class to function as the main characters of the story. Thus, the emphasis on the first years. This year-group will continue to get more focus in the following years of NG. And any new player will be asked to have a compulsory character in that year-group. 6. Secondary plots are allowed, but they should not conflict with the primary plot.
